In 2011, I was invited, along with nine other American photographers working in landscape, to show our work in China as part of an international symposium celebrating "Photography and Tourism." These are the images selected by the curator, Kirsten Ryan. (Note they are drawn from other portfolios so there will be overlap.)
One of the Chinese artists offered a generous compliment, saying each of the photographs was, to him, a poem.
